Yale Club of South Florida cordially invites you to the upcoming performance by the Shades of Yale University, a cappella group presented by the Black Archives, on Saturday, March 19 at 7 p.m. The group will be performing the Historic Lyric Theater in Miami for one-night only!

• Admission + Director’s Reception is $15 and begins at 6 p.m. This will be an opportunity to meet and greet the choir Director and members, as well as the Black Archives Director and Board Members. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served.

ABOUT SHADES OF YALE
Shades of Yale is a non-profit co-educational a cappella group founded to celebrate music of the African Diaspora. Composed of multicultural students of the Ivy League university, the group’s objective is to offer a unique, musically excellent, and spiritually enriching performance experience at Yale and beyond.
Shades has toured both domestically and internationally over the years, going as far as Costa Rica, Ireland, South Africa, Japan, and China. Shades has sung alongside Black music icons such as Lenny Kravitz, Angelique Kidjo, and Sweet Honey in the Rock, and performed for the late Nelson Mandela, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, and President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.
